Coalfield and Oakdale Place Two Players Each on All State Team

The Coalfield Yellow Jackets and the Oakdale Eagles each placed two players on the Tennessee Football Coaches Association (TnFCA) 2021 All State team for Division 1, Class 1A. Coalfield’s Bryson Ridge and Landon Lowe, along with Oakdale’s Eloy Vera and Nehemiah Cooney, were selected by Tennessee coaches as being among the best high school football players in the state.

For the second year in a row, Coalfield senior Bryson Ridge was selected as an all state offensive lineman. Ridge’s teammate senior Landon Lowe was named all state as a linebacker on defense.

Oakdale senior Eloy Vera was named as all state defensive lineman for the Eagles, and sophomore Nehemiah Cooney was named all state as an athlete.
