Wartburg’s Moore Named All-State

Wartburg Central High School senior quarterback Josh Moore has been named to the Tennessee Football Coaches Association Class 2A All-State Team as Athlete for 2018. Moore led the Bulldogs to its best record since 2012 and to a playoff berth for the first time since 2011. Moore’s exceptional 2018 performance is highlighted by the following statistics:

Passing:  81 completions in 139 attempts for 1,235 yards and 16 touchdowns with only eight interceptions (average of 15.2 yards per completion)
Rushing:  79 carries for 561 yards and 11 touchdowns (average of 7.1 yards per carry)
