Huge Volleyball Matchup as Coalfield faces Wartburg

Coalfield and Wartburg face each other Tuesday evening in one of the toughest volleyball matches that either team will face. Currently Wartburg and Coalfield are ranked 2nd and 3rd in District 3 behind Van Buren County. In their first meeting on August 23, the Lady Bulldogs fought back from being down 2-1 to defeat the Lady Jackets 3-2. Most assuredly, the Lady Jackets are seeking to avenge that loss. It should be a highly competitive match as Coalfield’s Taylor Landrum and Skylor Jeffers face Wartburg’s Sara Jones and Allie Aytes across the net.

Junior Varsity plays at 5:30 PM and Varsity plays at 6:30 in the Coalfield gymnasium. Definitely beats watching fake news and anything else you might see on TV.
