Newport and Langley Selected MCS Players of the Year

MorganCountySports.com District 3A 2019-20 Players of the Year

Now that district tournament is over, we are pleased to announce our choices for players of the year in District 3A. In making the selections, we looked at the players skills on both offense and defense, including their ball-handling ability, their agility, their aggressiveness in attacking the basket, their aggressiveness on defense, and scoring ability. Most important of all was their leadership and contribution to the success of their teams. While there are several good players that made the selection a tough one, we are pleased to announce that Chelsea Newport of Oneida High School and Josh Langley of Sunbright High School are our MorganCountySports.com selections for players of the year in District 3A.
