Van Buren Wins Region 2A Volleyball Championship

District 3A Champion Van Buren County continued their march to Murfreesboro by defeating Meigs County for the Region 2A Championship Tuesday evening at Spencer. Van Buren put Meigs County away in three sets, 25-18, 25-22, and 25-17.

In the words of Van Buren Coach Sarah Hickerson, “They did wonderful!”

Van Buren will host Region 1A runner-up Gatlinburg-Pittman on Thursday at 7 pm in Sectional competition. Meigs County will travel to face Region 1A Champion South Green.
