Five Wartburg Bulldogs Join Coalfield Players as Stat Leaders

Thanks to the hard work of Greg Addington in compiling and reporting statistics for the Coalfield football team, several Yellow Jackets have appeared on the Knoxville News Sentinel list of top 25 stat leaders throughout the season. Spanky Swint and Noah Barnette have been compiling stats for the Wartburg Bulldogs, but these have not been reported and are not included in the News Sentinel list. For our final report of the 2018 football season, we have integrated the Wartburg stats into the News Sentinel list. Five Bulldogs are included in our integrated list along with six Yellow Jackets. For Morgan County to have 11 players among the top 25 in their respective categories in the Knoxville area says a lot about the quality of high school football experienced by Morgan County fans.
