After being upset by Oliver Springs on Tuesday, the Wartburg Lady Bulldogs regained their composure and put the Rockwood Lady Tigers away 58-28. The Lady Bulldogs used a tenacious full-court press defense the entire first half that stymied Rockwood’s offense. The Lady Tigers scored only two points in the first quarter and four points in the second. Wartburg led 11-2 after the first quarter and built a 30-6 halftime lead. Rockwood outscored the Lady Bulldogs 11-8 in the third. Wartburg came back with a big fourth quarter, outscoring Rockwood 20-11.

Rockwood Overpowers Wartburg Bulldogs 67-52
With two key players missing from the roster, the Wartburg Bulldogs could not keep up with the size, speed, and aggressiveness of the Rockwood Tigers, losing 67-52 in a battle that was closer than the score indicated.
