Coalfield’s Isaac Vanwitzenburg Voted PrepXtra Boys Athlete of the Week

Coalfield wide receiver Isaac Vanwitzenburg has been voted Knoxville News Sentinel PrepXtra Boys Athlete of the Week for November 5-10 for his performance in Coalfield’s Round 2 playoff victory over Cloudland. As a wide receiver, Vanwitzenburg made a diving reception with only 23 seconds left for the winning touchdown. Isaac also plays defensive back for the Yellow Jackets, and was credited with eleven tackles and one interception in the game. For the season, Vanwitzenburg has 10 receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. His season defensive stats include 53 tackles, including five solo tackles, five interceptions, one forced fumble, and one pass batted down.
