Coalfield Drops to No. 10 in Poll

The Coalfield Yellow Jackets dropped to No. 10 in the Associated Press Tennessee Class 1A high school football poll released Monday after getting whipped by No. 1 Greenback by a score of 49-0. Midway moved up to No. 9 ahead of the Yellow Jackets after defeating Harriman 41-18.

Meanwhile, Region 2 rival Greenback continues to be ranked No. 1, receiving 12 of 14 first place votes in the weekly poll.

In Class 2A, the Oneida Indians moved up one spot to No. 8 in the poll after having a week off from play.
