Coalfield Now Has 7 Stats Leaders

After five games of the 2018 season, five Coalfield Yellow Jacket players remain on the Knoxville News Sentinel list of top 25 players in several categories of football stats. They are joined by two new Yellow Jackets who made the list.

Seth Lowe repeats on the scoring list, now tied for 15th place with five touchdowns for 30 points. In five games, Lowe has rushed 29 times for 181 yards, averaging 6.2 yards per carry.

Austyn Hensley is in 12th place in the tackles category with 41. Jonathon Woodward joins the tackles list tied for 18th with 36 tackles.

Dylan Stewart and Keigan White continue on the list of sack leaders – both are tied for 14th place with two each. After five games, Stewart has 18 tackles, including six tackles for loss. White has 22 tackles, with nine of those being tackles for loss.

Isaac VanWitzenburg remains on the list of interception leaders, tied for 5th place with two interceptions on the year. Jeffrey Speer joins the list, also tied for 5th place with two interceptions.

The stats presented by the News Sentinel include players from all classifications, who are combined into a single ranked list for each category.
