Coalfield Moves Up to No. 8 in Poll

The Coalfield Yellow Jackets moved up one spot to No. 8 in the Associated Press Tennessee Class 1A high school football poll released Monday after defeating Oakdale in Week 5 by a score of 41-0. Meanwhile, Region 2 rival Greenback continues to be ranked No. 1, receiving 13 of 15 first place votes in the weekly poll. The Jackets travel to Marion County this coming Friday.

In Class 2A, the Oneida Indians climbed two spots to No. 7 in the poll after defeating Cumberland Gap 26-7.
