Jackets Move Up to No. 9 in State Poll

The Coalfield Yellow Jackets moved up one spot to No. 9 in the Associated Press Tennessee Class 1A high school football poll released Monday after defeating Sunbright in Week 4 by a score of 41-6. Meanwhile, Region 2 rival Greenback continues to be ranked No. 1, receiving 14 of 16 first place votes in the weekly poll. The Jackets face Oakdale this coming Friday.

In Class 2A, the Oneida Indians dropped two spots to No. 9 in the poll after losing to Class 1A Harriman 19-7.
